Tech Stars Memorial was created by web technologist Damon Hernandez as a place to remember the people behind the technology.
The technology industry often celebrates what comes next, the next product, company, breakthrough, or big idea. But progress is built by people, and too often the stories of those people begin to fade after they are gone.
Damon created Tech Stars Memorial to help preserve those stories. It is a space to honor the technologists, creators, founders, engineers, designers, builders, mentors, and community members whose work helped shape our industry and the lives of those around them.
This memorial is not only about professional accomplishments. It is also about the friendships, generosity, curiosity, and human spirit that each person brought to their work and their community.
Tech Stars Memorial is intended to be a living archive, one that grows through the memories and contributions of colleagues, friends, families, and communities around the world.
